Psalm 35:15-16 But in my adversity they rejoiced and gathered together; attackers gathered against me, and I did not know it; They tore at me and did not cease; With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.

 

This is a continuation of the description of what Christ endured on this earth. He loved them and yet they gathered against Him, literally tearing Him to shreds and mocking Him. 

 

The same thing happened to David. When he needed help, the people he had prayed for and sought God for on their behalf, turned against him, and they had a big party to celebrate his suffering. This is exactly what the spirit of anti-christ, through the Muslim people and Satan worshippers, is doing to the Spirit of Christ in America today. 

 

America is in a bad way and in our adversity they have gathered together and are attacking us. Some Americans don’t even know what is going on and others refuse to believe it. They are tearing us to shreds just like they did Jesus and they will not cease. They are mocking us in our own streets and celebrating our defeat. But in my adversity they rejoiced and gathered together; attackers gathered against me, and I did not know it; They tore at me and did not cease; With ungodly mockers at feasts they gnashed at me with their teeth.

 

When all this began to happen in America I wondered, “Why are these people treating us like this?” “We are good to them and yet they seem to hate us and seek to destroy us.” 

 

We find the answers to these questions right here in Psalm 35. In 1774, the men at the first Continental Congress asked the same questions of the British. Under the spiritual guidance of Rev. Duche, of Christ’s Church, they found the same answer, right here in this same Passage of Scripture. 

 

This is no coincidence, my friends. In 1774, Americans knew they were in for the battle of their lives for their land and their freedom. Once they understood the enemy, they were up for the battle.

 

Recently, America has once again been under siege. Our land and freedom are at stake. We are in the midst of a horrific spiritual battle between Satan’s spirit of anti-christ and the Spirit of Christ. It is time to allow the Spirit of Christ to rise up within us and put on the full armor of God as we march head on into this battle as the strong and brave Christian Soldiers God has called us to be! 

 

Onward Christian Soldiers marching as to war. With the Cross of Jesus going on before. Christ the Royal Master leads against the foe; Forward into battle, see His banner go! Like a Mighty Army moves the Church of God. Brothers we are treading where the saints have trod. We are not divided, all one body we, one in hope and doctrine, one in charity. Onward Christian soldiers, marching as to war, with the Cross of Jesus going on before. 

 

The Cross of Jesus will……..turn the tide
