Mark 3:11 And unclean spirits, when they saw Him, fell down before Him, and cried, saying, You are the Son of God.

 

Jesus was offshore in a small boat preaching and teaching to a great multitude of people who were on land. Thousands had gathered because they had heard of Him and His Power to heal. 

 

The Bible says many were stricken with plagues and disease. They were also stricken by unclean spirits or demons. These people were believers. They believed Jesus was the Messiah; the Son of God. They had witnessed many miracles, and they came because they believed. 

 

However, just because they believed in Jesus did not cause the demons to leave them. They had to go to where Jesus was to be set free, and when they did, the moment the unclean spirits saw Him, they fell down before Him, and cried, saying, You are the Son of God.

 

Many people today do not believe a born-again Christian can be attacked by a demonic spirit. This is foolishness! We are all born with the sin nature, and it does not vanish the moment we are saved and born again. 

 

The Word of God does say that sin shall not have dominion over you. (Romans 6:14) That does not mean we will not be tempted by the devil. It does mean that sin shall not rule our lives as it did prior to our Salvation experience. 

 

Satan does not give up that easily. He will continue to tempt us, but as we grow stronger in our faith in the Shed Blood of Jesus Christ, the enemy’s power over us is far less. 

 

Jesus made Himself available to the people, and those who came in BELIEF were set free and healed. The demons recognized Jesus immediately. They still do. Whatever it is that Satan is tempting you with, recognize it as a demonic spirit and come into the Presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. Command that unclean spirit to leave you in the Name of Jesus. No evil spirit can stand against your belief and faith in the Power of the Name of Jesus. 

 

Your freedom awaits you. Go to Him in faith and believe in the Power of His Name.
