Psalm 35:19-21 Let them not rejoice over me who are wrongfully my enemies; nor let them wink with the eye who hate me without a cause. For they do not speak peace, but they devise deceitful matters against the quiet ones in the land. They also opened their mouth wide against me, and said, “Aha, aha! Our eyes have seen it.”
Just as the enemies of Jesus rejoiced over His suffering and death on the Cross, David’s enemies did the same. This is happening again in America as the Spirit of Christ, that is the foundation of our country, is under attack by the spirit of anti-christ manifested in the Muslim people, Sharia Law, and Satan worship.
Yesterday we learned that amid trial and in the face of adversity, we MUST praise God for who He is, what He has done and what He is able to do. As we surrender to Him and seek Him in a deeper way, we give God His much deserved praise and continue to petition Him to destroy our enemies.
Verses 19-21 accurately describe the prayers of Christians in America today. Muslims and Satanists are rejoicing in our streets and making fun of us. They do not seek peace. Instead they are deceitful and plan attacks against America in an attempt to totally defeat us and the Spirit of Christ in us.
Americans are beginning to wake up and see this for what it really is; the spirit of anti-christ. I am grateful for this awakening in America, but many continue to sleep.
I praise God for the groups of people that are springing up across our great land as the people are gaining knowledge of the truth of what America REALLY stands for. Yes, we stand for FREEDOM but WHERE does this freedom come from?
We will address this question tomorrow, but for today let us praise God for who He is, what He has done and what He is able to do. Jesus said, With God ALL THINGS are possible. (Matthew 19:26)
God is able if we are willing to be obedient to Him. As they say, the ball is in our court. We can keep on living in the world of sin, or we can answer in obedience, seeking Righteousness. God is calling America back to Him. We have drifted far off course. It’s time to right the ship.
The Call of God has not changed. It is the same today as it always has been: Repent; confess our sin and turn from our wicked ways. Thank God for His never-ending Mercy and Forgiveness. Praise His Holy Name!
