Matthew 18:19-20 Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in Heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My Name, I am there in the midst of them.

 

Time and time again, Jesus instructs us how to pray. For the past few days we have been discussing the Communication Triangle God has put in place for us. As a matter of review: God the Father is at the top, Jesus is on the bottom left corner and the Holy Spirit is on the bottom right corner. All people are on the bottom line between Jesus and the Holy Spirit. (For more detail on this go back and read the Morning Messages dated November 15, 16 and 17.)

 

God loves us and He wants to give us things. Jesus said this: If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father Who is in Heaven give good things to those who ask Him! (Matthew 7:11)

 

Our Heavenly Father is Who provides us with everything. Our requests are to be made to Him through our Advocate, Mediator and Intercessor, Jesus, Who in turn approaches God the Father with our request. Then God the Father makes the decision to release the Power of the Holy Spirit to do a great work in our lives. He may dispense an Angel! Whatever He does it will be for our good because He loves us and will never leave us nor forsake us! Hallelujah!

 

There are millions of believers on the bottom line of the Communication Triangle. Jesus told us to get together and pray in agreement IN HIS NAME. This is a powerful tool that is often ignored. Jesus said, Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in Heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My Name, I am there in the midst of them. (Matthew 18:19-20)

 

Jesus is our Mediator and Intercessor. He takes our requests to the Father. When a lot of people go to Him with the same request it’s sort of like having a protest march at the capital. Although we are not demanding that Jesus do something, we are coming together in agreement and joining our faith together in regard to this request and believing together that He will hear our prayer, take it to God the Father, Who will then instruct the Holy Spirit to act on our behalf.

 

When we believe together with our brothers and sisters in Christ and pray in agreement, we will see God move mightily on our behalf. He is able! He is a BIG GOD! Don’t be afraid to ask for BIG things! He can do it. He wants to do it but we MUST go about it in an orderly manner. God’s Order is perfect. Any other order will result in failure. His Ways are perfect.

 

Whatever your need, Jesus already accomplished it on the Cross. If you believe that, place your faith in that Victory and make your request known to Jesus. He will take it from there. Believe and wait for God to move. He will and when He does it will be MIRACULOUS!

 

 

Prayer in agreement will……….turn the tide
