Exodus 33:14 And He (God) said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”

 

Matthew 11:28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

 

The Presence of the Spirit of God changes the atmosphere. There is nothing in this world more powerful than the Presence of the Spirit of the Lord. This applies to our individual person, our home, car, workplace, classroom, church, meeting place, government building, a store, or wherever we happen to be. Whether it be a town, city, state, nation, or the world, when we welcome the Presence of the Spirit of God to be among us, the atmosphere will change dramatically.

 

Throughout the entire Bible, we read of this. In the Four Gospels, every time Jesus came on the scene, the atmosphere changed immediately. In the midst of turmoil, outrage, famine, or disease, the moment Jesus arrived, everything was different.

 

In our personal lives, the instant we understand who Jesus is and what He did on the Cross and accept Him as our personal Lord and Savior, we are changed forever. This transformation, known as Salvation, is a result of the Presence of the Spirit of the Lord in our personal midst and penetrating our entire being.

 

There is nothing in this world that compares to being in the Presence of God, and once we experience the Presence of the Lord, that’s where we want to be every moment of every day. In that place, we find God’s Peace, which is beyond our understanding. Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the Peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

 

The Presence of the Holy Spirit ushers in the Fruit of the Spirit, which is love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and self-control. 

 

Whatever the pain, turmoil, or torment you are experiencing in your life at the present time, it can all be alleviated by the Presence of the Spirit of God in your midst. When we allow the Spirit of God to rule and reign in our lives, the atmosphere around us changes.

 

This is a Spiritual Truth, and it has no limits. God has no limits. The Presence of the Holy Spirit of God will absolutely change the atmosphere. This is true everywhere!

 

There is a beautiful song entitled “Welcome Holy Spirit.”  Let this be your song of prayer to the Lord today. Welcome Holy Spirit, be here with your Presence, Fill me with your Power; live inside of me. Welcome Holy Spirit, be here with your Presence, Fill me with your Power; live inside of me. You’re the Living Water; the never drying Fountain; Comforter and Counselor, take complete control. Welcome Holy Spirit, be here with your Presence, Fill me with your Power; live inside of me.

 

The Presence of the Holy Spirit will……..turn the tide
