John 20:22 And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”
Jesus spoke a lot about the Holy Spirit and what He would do when He came. The Holy Spirit is here among us. He lives inside every believer and He wants to accomplish so much but many believers today totally ignore Him. Entire denominations want nothing to do with Him. What a pity!
I don’t understand how someone can believe in Jesus, read the Bible and come to the conclusion that the Holy Spirit does not exist. This is the work of the Devil to distract, deceive, and confuse God’s people. Let’s read what Jesus said in regard to the Holy Spirit.
John 14:16 And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever.
John 15:26 But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of Truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me.
John 16:7-8 Nevertheless I tell you the truth. It is to your advantage that I go away; for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send Him to you. And when He has come, He will convict the world of sin, and of Righteousness and of judgment:
John 16:12-15 I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of Truth, has come, He will guide you into all Truth; for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak; and He will tell you things to come. He will glorify Me, for He will take of what is Mine and declare it to you. All things that the Father has are Mine. Therefore I said that He will take of Mine and declare it to you.
Luke 12:11-12 Now when they bring you to the synagogues and magistrates and authorities, do not worry about how or what you should answer, or what you should say. For the Holy Spirit will teach you in that very hour what you ought to say.
Acts 1:8 But you shall receive Power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.
John 20:21-22 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” And when He had said this, He breathed on them, and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”
Wherever you are right now, close your eyes and be still. Jesus is right there with you. Take Him by the Hand. Feel His Breath on your cheek. Listen. Hear Him say to you, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”
The Holy Spirit will……….turn the tide……..in your life.
