Habakkuk 2:7 Shall they not rise up suddenly who shall bite you, and awake who shall vex you, and you shall be for booties unto them?
The Prophesy given by God to Habakkuk in the form of a Vision is amazing! We have seen it play out many times throughout history, and it is yet again recurring today.
The seventh verse portrays a picture of people suddenly rising up against others in an attempt to take them over due to their indebtedness. God instructs His people not to get into debt. This is a powerful lesson for all people and nations.
Much of America is in debt up to their heads, and many are only a few months away from being homeless. This is a travesty because when the banks decide to call the notes due and begin to foreclose and repossess that which is rightfully theirs, the debtor is left with nothing. This is what the seventh verse is saying.
Likewise, a nation that is in debt beyond its ability to pay is in the same situation. America is in that place today with almost 20 trillion dollars of debt. Personally, I believe this has been done intentionally by our current administration, as we have accrued more debt in the past seven years than we have in the entire history of our nation put together. America has diminished while we have enabled other nations to prosper at our expense. This is also a travesty.
The time has come for the oppressed to stand against the oppressor. America must take a stand against the enemy. Together, we are a people of many origins. We represent strength and freedom for the entire world, but we are rapidly losing this position.
As God’s people, we must pray for the corruption in our land to be exposed and for God’s people to rise up in the Power and Strength we have in the Mighty Name of Jesus.
I have been speaking this same message every morning for several years. How bad does it have to get before you will wake up? How long does this have to continue before you will understand that the future of your children and grandchildren is at high risk? We have lived in freedom our whole lives. Our children and grandchildren may not have that same privilege if we don’t stand now. It is our responsibility to protect and provide for our families. What are you willing to do so your children will be able to speak the Name of Jesus in the streets of America?
God said, If my people, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My Face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from Heaven, forgive their sins and heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
God can turn the tide in America. He is waiting for His people to respond in obedience to His Call. It’s time to respond. It’s PAST time! God is able. He will do what He says He will do. Will you do your part?
