Return To Christ

John 12:32  And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

The men who formed the Continental Congress in 1774 understood the attack of tyranny brought on them by the King of England. Under the leadership of Rev. Duche of Christ’s Church, they spent three hours on their knees in prayer and the study of Psalm 35.

This Psalm was penned by David but inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Psalm speaks of the attack of the evil one and although it is written by a man (David) the attack of which it speaks is a Prophesy of the attack against the Person and Spirit of Jesus Christ.

The attack the colonists faced was not against them personally, it was against the Spirit of Jesus Christ in them. King George II desired more power, control, money, and land; a greater kingdom for England. Therefore he fought the Spirit of Jesus Christ which dwelled in the hearts of the colonists. The Spirit of Jesus Christ is a representation of Freedom in every sense of the word and the tyranny of any man-made kingdom is contrary to the Freedom we find in Christ. The two spirits CANNOT co-exist.

The attack America faces today is exactly the same thing. The Nation of Islam and Satan worshipers are at war against the Spirit of Jesus Christ in the American people. The war is not between America and the Middle East or any other land mass. Nor is it between the Constitution of the United States of America and Sharia Law. The battle is between the Spirit of Jesus Christ and the spirit of the anti-christ. That is the battle we face.

These people have been patiently waiting for decades as the Christian faith in America has diminished. During this time they have infiltrated every aspect of our society and culture. What was once strong faith in the Holy Word of God has shrunk into a New Age, One World Religion of falsehood. Then, when the Church becomes weak, the enemy will strike and strike hard.

America has become weak today because the Body of Christ in America is weak. It has been said, “As goes the Church, so goes the nation.” This is so true. Our Founding Fathers knew this and believed it with all their hearts. They understood what FEW Americans understand today.

America is the face of Freedom to the world. Freedom is a God given right to every person. God is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Son is the Person of Jesus Christ and the Word of God.

You cannot separate God (the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit and the Word of God) from Freedom. It simply cannot be done. Some Americans today think they can stand for freedom but shun God. This is a falsehood and a travesty. Without Christ there is no freedom. We have a strong leader in the White House, but America MUST return to Christ if we hope to retain freedom in our land.

A return to Christ will……..turn the tide
