Psalm 35:1 Plead my cause, O Lord, with those who strive with me; Fight against those who fight against me.
To begin the meeting of the first Continental Congress, the Founding Fathers loved America so much they knew they had to seek the counsel of a man of the cloth who would lead them into Spiritual Truth. In search of total freedom for themselves and all Americans, these men knew true freedom was given ONLY by God Almighty; the Creator.
They were under attack in every sense of the word. Physically, emotionally, and spiritually the attack was upon them by the tyranny of the King of England who saw them and their land as an addition and extension of his kingdom.
I suppose many of the young Americans believed that because they had physically fled the land of England and settled in this new place, the King would leave them alone, but they were wrong. His desire for more land, more people and more power followed them across the Atlantic Ocean and on to the shores of their newly found land.
They were under attack. They knew they had to stand and fight but they also knew they HAD TO HAVE THE HELP OF GOD.
The freedom we know in America is once again under such attack. The enemy is on our shores and has infiltrated our country. They are attacking us physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Many Americans are ready to stand and fight but are they ready to enlist the HELP OF GOD?
Without God the early Americans would not have won the Revolutionary War. Without God America will not win the battle we now face either. Without God we have no strength or hope. God is the grantor of Freedom and Victory over sin, death and the devil.
The God of whom I speak is the God of the Holy Bible; Jesus Christ. Allah is NOT GOD! Buddha is NOT GOD! Confucius is NOT GOD! We do NOT ALL SERVE AND PRAY TO THE SAME GOD! This is a lie straight from Hell!
America must once again seek the HELP OF GOD ALMIGHTY; THE CREATOR; JESUS CHRIST! America must once again seek the Wisdom of the Holy Scriptures and live by them. This is what formed America and has kept America free for the past 248 years.
Jesus Christ is the source of ALL Freedom. Jesus Christ is the ONLY source of Freedom.
Faith in Jesus Christ will……..turn the tide
