John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and has nothing to do with the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
One of Satan’s most powerful evil demons is the spirit of deception. This is a part of the sin nature we are all born with due to the fall of Adam and Eve.
This spirit is running rampant everywhere. People will blatantly lie even when there is no need to lie. We all know people like this. Sometimes they get so caught up in lies that they don’t know the truth themselves. This is the work of the enemy and the spirit of deception ministering to them.
Every day in the news, we watch as politicians look straight into the eyes of the cameras and lie, telling us exactly what they know we want to hear. People will lie even when confronted with the evidence against them. A burglar caught in the act of a robbery will lie and blame his actions on someone else. You don’t have to teach a child to lie; they naturally do it.
As Jesus said, we are born of our father the devil, and we naturally have his desires. We are all born sinners, and we all need a Savior. No one can conquer this on their own. If we could, Jesus would not have had to go to the Cross.
The ONLY answer to sin is Jesus. He said, I am the Way, the TRUTH and the Life. Jesus is the only source of Truth for anyone. Since we are born with the sin nature, we naturally lie. Not until we know and accept Jesus as our personal Savior will we be convicted of our evil ways and seek Truth and Righteousness.
This is why our society in America is in the shape it's in. We have stopped teaching our children the Word of God. We have stopped preaching the full Gospel of Christ from the pulpit. We have stopped directing people to the Only Answer to life; Jesus Christ and Him Crucified.
We have closed the Word of God in our schools, and yet it is sought after in prisons. How much sense does that make? Perhaps if people heard the Gospel as children, they wouldn’t spend their adult lives in prison.
It’s all deception; lies. It is the devil’s plan to destroy the Kingdom of God. He is a liar; the father of lies. Seek the Truth. Speak the Truth. Teach the Truth. Share the Truth. Jesus is the Truth. Share Him.
Only Jesus can………..turn the tide
