Speak With Boldness
July 18, 2026, 3:00 AM

Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the Word of God with boldness.

God heard their prayer, and in His answer, He caused the whole place where they were assembled to shake. They knew it was God answering their prayer. The Presence of the Lord filled that place, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, which gave them tremendous boldness. They prayed, and God answered.

This is what the Church needs today, but how many congregations are praying for boldness, miracles, signs and wonders? I’m sad to say, not many.

This was a new beginning for the young Church. They had been filled with the Holy Spirit who gave them a boldness unlike anything they had ever known. They were bold before, but now they were more bold. They had witnessed miracles, signs, and wonders, but now they would witness MORE! They prayed for more, and they received more. There is always more available from God, but we have to ask and expect God to answer.

When we decrease in and of ourselves, God will pour more and more into us, making us stronger and more bold in Him. When we stop talking about ourselves and our own strengths and abilities, God will cause our world to shake and fill us with His Holy Spirit who will give us more courage and boldness to speak the Word of God.

Lord, we pray for You to cause us to want to decrease so You can increase within us. We ask for You to shake our world, fill us with Your Holy Spirit, and give us boldness to speak Your Word. Thank you, Lord, for hearing our prayer and answering. We are expecting the world to shake and the Holy Spirit to move in miraculous ways. We have seen many signs and wonders, but we are expecting more; far, far MORE!

The Holy Spirit will……....turn the tide

Praying for more,  Doreen
