1 Chronicles 12:32 And the Children of Issachar, which were men who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.

The Army of David consisted of a great multitude of people. Here we are told of those who had understanding of the times. A battle cannot be won without people who have an understanding of the current times and situation and the objective at hand.

The battle before the Church today is not understood by the majority of Christians. Many deny the enemy and do not seek the truth of the situation. This is the work of the enemy in their lives as the spirit of deception blinds them of the truth. It is the Holy Spirit that teaches and brings truth to any situation. Much of the Church today has denied the Holy Spirit, and the result of that denial is what we have today: A weak, uninformed, inactive, divided Church.

The Word of God makes it very clear WHO is to be our teacher, counselor, helper, and guide. There is no disputing the Word of God.

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. (John 14:26)

When the Spirit of truth comes, He will guide you into all the truth, for He will not speak on His own authority, but whatever He hears He will speak, and He will declare to you the things that are to come. (John 16:13)

But the Anointing that you received from Him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as His Anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in Him. (1 John 2:27)

Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words. (Romans 8:26)

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. (Acts 1:8)

The Holy Spirit is the Power of God in us. Without the Holy Spirit, we have no Teacher, Helper, Guide, or Counselor. In addition, we have no POWER! ! ! He is the ammunition in our artillery. What good is it to march into battle carrying guns if you have no ammunition?

It is the Holy Spirit of God that teaches us all things and guides us into all truth. We must have understanding of the times if we are to have Victory over the evil one. Without the Holy Spirit, we are nothing; we know nothing, understand nothing, and have no power. May the Holy Spirit come alive in the heart of every believer, and may we unite together as the one Body of Christ Jesus prayed for us to be.

There are said to be 247 million Christians in America. What an army we COULD be if we would band together, put on the full Armor of God, and operate under the teaching, guidance, leadership, and POWER of the Holy Spirit! The enemy would not stand a chance!

God is waiting to……..turn the tide
