Malachi 1:11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same My Name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto My Name, and a pure offering: for My Name shall be great among the heathen, says the Lord of Hosts.
After strongly rebuking and chastising His people, the Lord speaks a strong Prophetic Word through the Prophet Malachi some 400 years before the Birth of Christ.
The Jews were God's chosen people. All others were Gentiles and heathens. The Lord clearly states that one day His Name shall be great even among the Gentiles and the heathens.
After the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Christ, the Lord brought the first part of this Prophesy to fulfillment through His Disciples and Apostles.
And when there had been much dispute, Peter rose up and said to them: “Men and brethren, you know that a good while ago God chose among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the Word of the Gospel and believe. (Acts 15:7)
Nevertheless, brethren, I have written more boldly to you on some points, as reminding you, because of the Grace given to me by God, that I might be a minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the Gospel of God, that the offering of the Gentiles might be acceptable, sanctified by the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:15-16)
The second phrase of this Prophecy regarding the heathens is still to be fulfilled, but it will come to pass. The Prophet Isaiah was given this same Word, and it was repeated by Paul in Romans 14:11 For it is written: “As I live, says the Lord, Every knee shall bow to Me, And every tongue shall confess to God.”
The great Apostle Paul said it like this in Philippians 2:8-11 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the Cross. Therefore God also had highly exalted Him and given Him the Name which is above every name, that at the Name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Have no doubt, my friends, every Prophecy of God either has come to pass already, or will come to pass in the future. The time is coming soon when EVERY tongue will confess Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
We are living in troubled times. The heathens, driven by Satan and his demons, are rising up against God's people. They shall not win this battle. Stand strong in your faith in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, who died that you be set free! There is no bondage for the born-again Christian. Christ died for Freedom! We must stand for our Freedom.
Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ will…........turn the tide
Lifting up His Name! Doreen
