Daniel 4:3 How great are His Signs, And how mighty His Wonders! His Kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom, And His Dominion is from generation to generation.

 

Throughout the history of mankind, from generation to generation, God has used Signs and Wonders so people will believe He is the Lord God Almighty. Time and time again, we read in the Bible of Signs and Wonders. God does not change. He is still sending Signs and Wonders, but are His people watching? Do we recognize God's Signs and Wonders today?

 

For the past two days, I have shared with you two Miraculous Signs the Lord has sent to the people of Tennessee. Both occurrences have received news coverage, but how many people have paid attention? 

 

God allows hard times and tragedy in our lives so He can reveal Himself to us through Signs and Wonders. Many times God has to do something to get our attention before He can show us something very special. It is in the hard times that people reach out to God for help. 

 

When my husband, Jack, was tragically killed in 2003, I was devastated, but the Lord immediately began to give me Signs and perform Wonders in my life. He had been doing it all along, but I hadn't paid much attention. I was too busy living life to see all that God was doing, not to mention what He wanted to do. 

 

Then, in an instant, everything changed. Jack was gone, and God had my attention. I needed Him, and He was there. He did many things for me, including bringing Peace to my heart in the midst of the worst storm I had ever faced. One way He brought Peace was through a certain song. I had never heard it before, but it seemed like every time I turned on the radio, this certain song was playing. I knew in my heart God was working through this song. I received it as a Sign from God to me.

The lyrics to the chorus say, Sometimes it takes a storm, to know you need a shelter. When the anchors in your life disappear without a trace. Sometimes the wind will rage, before you sail calm waters. Sometimes it takes a storm, to find a hiding place.
