Revelation 2:25 But hold fast what you have till I come.
In His letter to the church in Thyatira, Jesus sternly scolded them for the spirit of Jezebel that was ministering to some of the people. Thyatira was the foundation for what became the Catholic Church. The spirit of Jezebel is a controlling force that manipulates people into sexual immorality and idolatry.
We find this letter in the 2nd Chapter of Revelation and Jesus is straight forward with His words of correction, warning, and coming judgment if they don’t change. Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. And I gave her time to repent of her sexual immorality, and she did not repent. Indeed I will cast her into a sickbed, and those who commit adultery with her into great tribulation, unless they repent of their deeds. I will kill her children with death, and all the churches shall know that I am He who searches the minds and hearts. And I will give to each one of you according to your works. (Revelation 2:20-23)
For those of you who think God is kidding, read the above Passage once again. He is not kidding! God gave these people the opportunity to repent but they refused. Therefore, they will suffer the consequences of their sin.
When we look at the Catholic Church today, we find a lot of very good people who love God and want to live their lives to please Him. However, many of those in leadership (the Pope, Cardinals, Arch Bishops, Bishops, Deacons, and Priests) have not only allowed the spirit of Jezebel to have her way with the Church they have succumbed to it themselves.
In recent years, hundreds of Priests have been prosecuted for pedophilia. Many young boys and girls who love God and want to serve the church as Altar Boys and Girls, have been sexually molested by Priests in the Catholic Church but this demonic activity is not limited to the Catholic Church. It is prevalent in our society today and as Jesus stated in His letter to the church at Thyatira, it is not at all acceptable to God.
All who practice this evil sin and do not repent, will suffer the judgment and wrath of God. Jesus said, But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea. (Mark 9:42)
As stated above, this is not limited to the Catholic Church. Sexual perversion is being found in many other Christian Churches. Children’s Sunday School classes and baby nurseries are the perfect place for sex offenders to have their way with our children if allowed to serve in that capacity.
While we will not be held accountable for their sin, we WILL BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE for not protecting the children in our care and allowing this demonic behavior to continue if we know it. This is the responsibility of the Pastors and those over the Children’s Ministry in churches.
Please take this very seriously because God means what He said in His Word. Judgement is soon to come to this world.
God will soon…..…….turn the tide……….and then it will be too late to repent.
