Take It To Jesus

Romans 8:34 It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the Right Hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

After Jesus spoke His last Words to His Disciples, He was received up into Heaven where He took His place at the Right Hand of the Father. This is where He has remained since that time. Jesus is still sitting at God’s Right Hand where He makes intercession for us. It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the Right Hand of God, who also makes intercession for us. (Romans 8:34)

How many times do we ask others to pray for us? Why do we do this when we can go straight to Jesus ourselves? He is sitting there making intercession for us. That means He is speaking to God on our behalf. We don’t need a third party to have our requests made known to God. Whatever you are struggling with, take it to Jesus yourself. He said, Ask and you shall receive. (Matthew 7:7)

He did not say ask someone else to ask for you. We must learn to approach the Throne of Grace ourselves. It is your problem, your struggle, your situation. Take it to Jesus yourself. He will hear and answer your prayer and He will take it to God on your behalf.

God will then release Holy Spirit to work on your behalf according to His Will for you and all the others involved. God always has our best interest at heart but we have no idea how many other people will be impacted as well. Therefore, we must trust God to do what is best for everyone. It’s not just about us. There are many people involved and God is concerned about all of them, not just you. Again, we must learn to trust Him to do what is best for all involved while we don’t even know who that may be.

The Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy on this subject. In the 2nd Chapter of 1 Timothy we read, For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus. (1 Timothy 2:5)

Jesus is waiting for you to come to Him with your problem. He wants to take it to God the Father on your behalf. He is the Mediator between you and God Almighty. All you have to do is ask in faith. This means to believe Jesus will intercede for you. This also means that you believe God will do what is best for everyone involved which may include many people you don’t even know.

As you can see, once again it comes back to our faith in God’s ability to do whatever needs to be done. When we try to do things ourselves or force something to happen, we are operating in the flesh and displaying a lack of faith in God and His Plan for all people.

Take it to Jesus. He will intercede for you and God will…...….turn the tide……….in your life.

Thank you Jesus for interceding for me,         Doreen
