The Grace Of God

Ephesians 2:7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His Grace in His Kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

No one understood the Grace of God more than the Apostle Paul. Prior to his salvation experience on the Road to Damascus (Acts 9:1-19), Paul (then Saul) was an evil Christian hater. He had many Christians stoned to death simply because of their faith in Christ. He was the worst of the worst at that time.

However, when he met Jesus on the Road to Damascus, he was totally changed and his eyes were opened to the Truth of the Gospel of Christ. It’s a fascinating testimony of the Grace of God given to someone who was an undeserving sinner.

In Paul’s life, we see all aspects of the Grace of God which is the demonstration of the Goodness, Kindness, and Power of God to completely change people and it’s all free. No one deserves the Grace of God but it is available to everyone. It is the Gift of God made available to us because of Jesus’ Finished Work on the Cross of Calvary.

We all stand in desperate need of forgiveness and redemption because, without it, we are destined to live horrible lives controlled by Satan and spend eternity in Hell. It is only by faith in what Jesus did on the Cross of Calvary that we can be the recipients of the Grace of God and be Saved and set free from the burden of sin.

Grace is the expression of God’s Kindness toward us as we place our faith in the Finished Work of His Son on the Cross. This is WHY God sent Jesus and this is WHY Jesus willingly went to the Cross. We can all experience the Grace of God by believing in what Jesus accomplished on the Cross. There is no other way. Jesus is the ONLY Way. He said, I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No one comes to the Father but by Me. (John 14:6)

God’s character is Love, Righteousness, Holiness, Just, Faithfulness, Merciful, Kindness, Truthful, Patient, Goodness, and Consistent. Our Heavenly Father is all these things and so is the Holy Spirit of God and Jesus. All Three of Them have all of these same characteristics manifested in Three different Persons. This is the Trinity; the Three Persons of the Godhead. While different, They are all Three exactly the same.

With that said, allow me to repeat myself. Grace is the expression of God’s Kindness toward us as we place our faith in the Finished Work of Jesus on the Cross of Calvary. As Paul said, that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His Grace in His Kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:7)

The Grace of God will……….turn the tide

Thank you Lord for your Grace,         Doreen
