Isaiah 53:1 Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

The Lord spoke to the Prophet Isaiah in the year 712 B.C. Think of that! Seven hundred years in advance of Jesus being born, God spoke to Isaiah about the Messiah; His Birth, Life, Crucifixion, and Resurrection. Amazing!

In the 53rd Chapter of Isaiah's Prophecy, he begins by saying, Who has believed our report? And to whom has the Arm of the Lord been revealed? It seems as if Isaiah knew few would believe what he was about to report. The question remains today: Why will we choose to believe?

The "Arm of the Lord" refers to the fact that it takes Faith to see and believe the Prophecy. The demonic spirit of unbelief fights continually to rob people of their Faith. Satan fills our minds with thoughts of coincidence and happenstance, but with God, all things are possible, and there is no such thing as coincidence.

Living for God takes Faith. The Word says, And without Faith it is impossible to please Him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6)

This Passage of Scripture is the essence of our walk with God. The first step is to believe that He exists. Within the heart of every human being is the awareness that God exists. God plants this inside every person at the time He creates them. For the Wrath of God is revealed from Heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.  For since the Creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His Eternal Power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, (Romans 1:18-20)

No one can make the excuse that they did not know or were not told. Every person who has ever lived knows God exists. This takes us right back to the question Isaiah posed, Who has believed our report? And to whom has the Arm of the Lord been revealed?

As we approach the Christmas Season, let us do everything we can to share our Faith and Belief in God and His Son, Jesus. God's Creation of the world is so beyond remarkable! His invisible attributes are clearly seen by all! Everyone is without excuse.

Share the Gift of God and His Son this Christmas. He was and continues to be The Perfect Gift!

Only God can..........turn the tide
