Psalm 35:13-14 But as for Me, when they were sick, My clothing was sackcloth; I humbled Myself with fasting; and My prayer would return to my own heart. I paced about as though he were my friend or brother; I bowed down heavily, as one who mourns for his mother.
This part of the 35th Psalm is a description of the response of Jesus to the hate and mistreatment He received during His Ministry on earth. He did nothing but good for everyone and yet, they hated Him. Although they hated Him, He prayed and mourned for them because they were spiritually dead and He knew He was the source of Life for them all.
This is also an accurate description of the Church’s response to Muslims and Satan worshippers in America today. No matter how many people they kill, how many women and children they rape, how many buildings they destroy or how many churches they blow up, Americans just pace back and forth as though these people are their friends or family, and mourn for them. I paced about as though he were my friend or brother; I bowed down heavily, as one who mourns for his mother.
In addition, many Americans believe that if we give them more, they will stop treating us this way. The problem is, all the pacing, mourning, and giving is all done in the flesh and does not address the demonic spirit that possesses these people.
By the Grace of God, there are cases of these people being saved and born again and THAT is the ONLY way they are changed. Islam and all other cults, are Satan personified and a representation of pure darkness. ONLY when the Spirit of Christ (Truth and Light) penetrates the heart of such a person is the spirit of anti-christ (darkness) defeated.
Light ALWAYS dispels darkness. This is a scientific and spiritual fact. America has always been the Beacon of Light to the world. This is NOT due to the strength and determination of our Founding Fathers. Nor is it due to the many strong statesmen and clergymen over the years or the many powerful military leaders. America has been the Beacon of Light to the world because the Spirit of Christ is the Foundation upon which this country was founded and formed.
As the old hymn goes, On Christ the Solid Rock I stand. All other ground is sinking sand. All other ground is sinking sand.
Many Americans today are standing on sinking sand and wondering why they are losing ground. They are good people who love their country and are willing to fight, but they are NOT standing on the Solid Rock of Christ.
Christ and the Spirit of Christ is the Foundation upon which America was birthed, founded, and built. The Foundation is still here……..Let us STAND ON IT and turn on the LIGHT in America!
