On behalf of the Person of Jesus Christ and the Spirit of Jesus that lives in the heart of every born again believer, this petition to God is made by inspiration of the Holy Spirit through the man named, David.
Jesus and the Spirit of Jesus Christ have been under attack since the day of His Birth. A study of the New Testament will prove this out. EVERY attack on the Person and Spirit of Jesus Christ has been, and continues to be, without just cause. There has never been a good reason to hate Jesus and yet, for some 2,000 years, people have hated Him.
I remember way back when I was a child sitting in my Sunday School class, this question came to my mind and I asked it: "Why did they hate Him?" The answer I received from the teacher was right but not complete. She said, “They hated Him because He was a threat to their power.”
That’s true, however, it was the spirit of anti-christ within them that hated Him. And so it is today. The spirit of anti-christ hates the Spirit of Christ which dwells in the heart of every believer. Islam and Satan worshippers are the face of the spirit of anti-christ today. This demonic spirit has possessed these people and they hate everything that represents Christ and everyone who stands for Christ.
The Muslim people know America as a Christian Country and refer to her as “The Great Satan.” They hate America and they hate us. They want to take us over because the spirit of anti-christ wants to destroy the Spirit of Christ.
If you are a born again believer in Jesus Christ, I ask you to read Psalm 35:4-8 again. This time, pray these Words to God, not for yourself and not for America, but for the Spirit of Christ within you and our country.
Father in Heaven, in the Name of Jesus Christ my Lord and on behalf of the Spirit of Christ within me, Let those be put to shame and brought to dishonor who seek after My Life;................Let those be turned back and brought to confusion who plot My hurt............. And Father God may the Spirit of Christ rise up in me and in the heart of every believer in America and around the world today! The Spirit of Christ is far superior to the spirit of anti-christ. God is causing the Spirit of Christ to well up in the hearts of His people and stand for the Name of Jesus which is ALL POWERFUL!
It is the Spirit of Christ that will……..turn the tide
