Romans 15:19 Through mighty signs and wonders, by the Power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem, and round about unto Illyricum, I have fully preached the Gospel of Christ.

 

The Ministry of Jesus was multi-faceted. As He spoke to the people The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has Anointed Me to preach the Gospel to the poor, He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord. (Luke 4:18-19) This was Jesus’ Ministry and it is supposed to be the Ministry of the Church today.

 

Regrettably, most Churches do not teach and preach the full counsel of the Word of God. Most will preach the Gospel for Salvation, but very little, if any, beyond that. It’s a shame that people sit in church for decades still oppressed, brokenhearted, sick, in pain, bruised, and bound in sin by demonic spirits. They believe in Jesus and that He died for their sins, but they have never experienced the Presence of the Holy Spirit of God for Healing and/or Deliverance.

 

Jesus Commanded every Minister of the Gospel to continue His Work. And when He had called unto Him His twelve Disciples, He gave them Power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease. (Matthew 10:1)

 

And He ordained twelve, that they should be with Him, and that He might send them forth to preach, and to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils. (Mark 3:14-15)

 

The Apostle Paul preached the whole counsel of God. For I have not shunned to declare to you the whole counsel of God. (Acts 20:27) This was the foundation of the early Church as set forth by Jesus. Over the centuries the Church has diminished to the point of only preaching and teaching a small portion of the whole counsel. This is the work of the enemy to diminish the Power of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers.

 

Do not be deceived! Seek the whole counsel of God.

 

 

It is the Power of God to…...….turn the tide……..in your life.
