2 Corinthians 12:20 But now are they many members, yet but one body.

 

The Body of Christ is made up of many members. Each one is created, gifted, and anointed for a specific time and place in the Kingdom. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this? (Esther 4:14)

 

God has selected you to live on earth at this point in time. You have been prepared by Him for a specific purpose at this time in history. To think about this is to know the magnitude of the Power of God.

 

We have each been created by God for this time. He predestined our birth, and our days on earth are numbered. We are not alive at this time to serve the enemy or just exist for a predetermined period of time. We are here for a specific assignment given to us by God.

 

We are all a part of His Plan for His Universe, but He will not force anyone to comply with that Plan. Every person is given the free will to make their own choice. The Word of God says, Today you must choose what god you will serve. 

 

Every day we have another chance to live the life God intended for us. We are here for such a time as this, but are we taking advantage of the opportunity before us? Or, are we just living life doing what the world says is fun?

 

We do not know how many more days on earth God has planned for us. We may not see tomorrow. Today may be our last. We must make the most of every day and seek His Will for our lives. What would God have for us to do today? What opportunities will we have to glorify Him and speak into the life of another? When those opportunities arise, how will we respond?

 

We do not stand alone as a recluse or hermit. We are all part of the Body of Christ. Individually, we can make an impact on a few, but together we can bring the Gospel to a great number. As we recognize the gifts in others, encourage and edify them, we will see the Lord work in miraculous ways.

 

Together we form the Body of Christ, and we are here to serve in a certain capacity for such a time as this.

 

Only God could do this, and only God can………turn the tide
