Ephesians 2:13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the Blood of Christ.

 

Salvation comes ONLY by way of faith in the Finished Work of Christ on the Cross. There is no other way. We cannot work hard enough to gain it. Nor can we pay enough money to purchase it. Salvation is ONLY available to those who truly believe in the Sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ on the Cross of Calvary.

 

We view people in various ways. Mostly we identify folks by their ethnicity; what language they speak; the color of their skin. God does not see people like this. To God there are only two types of people: lost and Saved; believers and unbelievers.

 

Everyone is lost until they are Saved. We are all unbelievers until we come to that moment in time when we believe. Until then, we are just another lost person wandering through life filled with sin and shame. The far greater majority of people fall into this category. They are far from God and want little to do with Him.

 

However, once we respond in kind to the drawing of the Holy Spirit of God, and we hear the Gospel of Christ, and we believe it, we are forever changed. We move from the category of lost to Saved. We are no longer children of disobedience. Rather we become children of God; a part of His Family and citizens of His Kingdom! Our names are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life!

 

At that point in time, everything changes! We begin to see things completely differently. Sin becomes more repugnant to us as we seek to live our life pleasing to God Who gave His Only Son for our Redemption. Our attitude changes and we live in perpetual gratitude for all that Jesus did for us.

 

Without Him, we are lost, dying, totally sinful, and headed for eternity in Hell. With Him, we are Saved, Redeemed, Justified, and born again! We are completely different than we used to be. Our desires change. Our outlook changes. Our attitude changes. Everything about us changes! We are not the person we used to be. We are a child of the King! Hallelujah!

 

If you don’t know Jesus as your personal Savior, accept Him today. He will completely change you.
