The Kingdom of God is also known as the Body of Christ or the Church. As citizens of His Kingdom, our loyalties must rest there. Nothing in this world is more important than the Kingdom of God.
In America, we have a statement of loyalty to our country and its flag called the Pledge of Allegiance. It states, I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands. One nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. All true Americans will proudly stand and speak these words because we love America and what she stands for.
Many, if not most Americans, don’t understand that without the Kingdom of God, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Word of God, and the Ten Commandments, there would be no America.
Most countries have a king, queen, or emperor. This person rules their country. We don’t have such a person in America because Jesus is our King. Our Founding Fathers understood this, and their allegiance was to Him first. How many Americans know that today and are loyal to our King?
America’s system of government has lasted longer than any other in history. Why? Because we were founded on the principles of the Word of God and the Ten Commandments. All of our Founding Fathers were not born again believers in Christ, but they had great respect for the Word of God and believed in Divine Providence. They knew they did not want America to be another country of tyranny like England was at that time.
Therefore, they set out to form a new country different from any other place on earth. It would be a country where loyalty to the Kingdom of God and His Word would come first. They devoted their lives to this task, and the Holy Spirit of God led their every step and gave them every word to write. This is why America has been the greatest nation on earth and the leader of the free world for all these many years.
Our youth of today need to know and believe these facts. This is our Heritage. The enemy has tried his hardest to rob us of our Heritage. If we sit back and hide in our homes and behind the closed doors of our little churches, he will succeed. They have rewritten our history books, and much of what is written there now is not true. Our teachers have not been taught the truth themselves in college, so they are teaching lies to their students.
It is our true American Heritage that needs to be taught to the young people in America today. They need to know who they are and where they came from. They deserve to know the truth. We cannot expect them to live as God fearing, law abiding, respectful citizens if they do not know the truth.
The Words of Jesus are recorded in John 8:32, And you shall know the Truth, and the Truth shall make you free.
The Truth will…….. turn the tide
