Understanding Grace

Hebrews 8:6 But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better Covenant, which was established on better Promises.

The Grace of God is a free Gift to anyone who chooses to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace is a multi-faceted Gift of God. As we discussed yesterday, God bestowed His Grace on Old Testament Saints but the Grace we have as New Testament believers is far, far greater because it is founded in a better Covenant and established on better Promises.

God knows His Plan and Purpose for each of us so even before we are Saved, He keeps us safe by His Grace. We all have stories of how God saved us from tragedy prior to our salvation. He does these things because He loves us and wants us to fully trust Him, come to Salvation, and surrender to His Plan and Purpose for our lives. So that you may be sons of your Father Who is in Heaven. For He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. (Matthew 5:45)

God in His graciousness (Grace) offers the Gift of Salvation to everyone. It is only by the Grace of God that we can be Forgiven and Saved from eternal damnation. For by Grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the Gift of God. (Ephesians 2:8)

Jesus brought the New Testament Grace to the world. While it is the same as the Grace bestowed on Old Testament Saints, it is far greater for us now and it’s all because of Jesus. As Jesus grew as a child, He also grew in wisdom and carried the Grace of God. And the Child grew and became strong in Spirit, filled with wisdom; and the Grace of God was upon Him. (Luke 2:40)

Jesus is the Grace of God manifested as a Person. God sent His Grace to the world through the Person of His Son, Jesus Christ. For the Grace of God has appeared, bringing Salvation for all people. (Titus 2:11)

Jesus is the Grace of God personified. If you know Him, you know the Grace of God. Hallelujah!

Understanding the Grace of God can……..….turn the tide……….in your life.

Only by the Grace of God, Doreen
