Ezekiel 3:18 When I say to the wicked, “You shall surely die,” and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.
As we study through the Book of Acts, we find that the Apostle Paul was relentless with his Message to the people. Whether it be Jews or Gentiles, the Message was the same; the Gospel of Christ. Paul preached Christ and Him Crucified and he never quit.
The Ministry of Paul is a wonderful example for people in the Ministry today. His Message was clear and straightforward. In actuality, it was a warning for every person who heard it. His Message of the Cross of Christ warned the people of the fact that if they did not accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior, they would spend eternity in Hell. Some listened; some did not. So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God (Romans 10:17)
However, Paul understood that it was not his place to force people to listen and accept Jesus. His place was to tell them about Him. His Ministry was to give them the information. What they did with it was their choice.
Paul also knew the Power of God to draw people to Himself and get people’s attention. I’m sure he shared how God got his attention on that fateful day on the Road to Damascus. Paul depended on God to do His part when he did his part. Together they made a great team and thousands of people were saved and born again.
Paul was well-versed in the Words of the Prophets. He knew what the Lord told Ezekiel about being a watchman. He knew that he too had been called to be a watchman. All these people were dying and headed for eternity in Hell and he had the only Message that could save them. If he didn’t share it with them, they didn’t have a chance. He also knew that if he didn’t warn them and share with them the Message of the Cross of Christ, their blood would be on his hands. Now it came to pass at the end of seven days that the Word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the House of Israel; therefore hear a Word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me: When I say to the wicked, “You shall surely die,” and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul. (Ezekiel 3:16-19)
Every person called into the Ministry is a watchman. We are commissioned by God to warn people of what is to come. If we don’t, their blood is on our hands. WARNING: And if anyone’s name was not found written in the Book of Life, he was thrown into the Lake of Fire. (Revelation 20:15)
Heeding this warning will…...….turn the tide……….in your life.
Warning issued. Doreen
