We The People In America

Exodus 18:25 And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people: rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.

God laid out the process for civil government, and the Founding Fathers of America took it to heart as they framed our great nation. Godly leadership and biblical principles were the foundation upon which America was founded and built, and God blessed this nation unlike any other for 200 years because of it.

America has always been grounded in the Christian faith. It is the Christian Churches that have been the backbone of America, and it is from the pulpits that the Truth of the Word of God went out, and strong leaders were raised up from their congregations.

The brave men who enlisted in the military when WWII broke out were the product of our strong, biblical foundation. These men are known as "The Greatest Generation." We have always been a nation of brave men and women who were willing to risk life and limb for their country and the core beliefs of liberty and freedom that America stands for.

Strength has been the descriptive word for America: good people with a strong resolve to maintain freedom. Those who believed they could make a difference would run for political office because they loved their country and wanted to see it remain the greatest nation on earth and the leader of the free world. From volunteer firefighters to enlisted military personnel and public servants, Americans have always lived their lives honoring the Golden Rule set forth by Jesus Christ. Love thy neighbor and do unto others as you would have them do unto you. This is the American Way.

After WWII, something happened, and things began to change. The people began to seek power and money instead of God. "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you" became, "Do unto others BEFORE they do it to you." Instead of folks working together, we took on the "every man for himself" mentality, and the face of America began to take on a whole different look.

The concept of people being public servants who wanted to donate their time and money to serve their country went by the wayside and professional politicians rose up out of greed and pride. They elevated themselves above the common citizen and saw themselves as elite. They no longer needed God or His Word and believed no one else in America did either. They took prayer and the Word of God out of the public schools and systematically stripped this nation of all that is good in the Eyes of God.

But hold on because in the heartland of America, hearts have continued to beat for God, and when God's people rise up, pray, and trust in His Holy Name, the tide will turn! There are still plenty of people in America who care more about God, His Word, and Freedom than they do money and power. These are those whom our Founding Fathers called, "We, the people."

We, the people, have spoken a strong message to those who have sought to destroy America. We, the people, say "No more!" We, the people, are on our feet for Jesus Christ in America, and we, the people, will lift His Name high all across this land!

It was we, the people, who founded this country. It has been we, the people, who have bravely marched into battle to fight for Freedom. It is now, We, the people, who are taking our country back! It is, We the people, who have fervently prayed and sought the leading of the Holy Spirit of God to save our nation. We, the people, cannot turn the tide, BUT, we, the people, know personally the ONE who can! Lift Him up all across this great land we call America!

Praise God! He alone can..........turn the tide

Proud to be counted among, We, the people!      Doreen
