Weaker Is Stronger

2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

No one knew what it was to be a new creation better than the Apostle Paul. After meeting Jesus face to face on the Road to Damascus, he was literally transformed completely. This is God's Will for every person on earth.

A new year is quickly upon us. The Lord has accomplished much in us and through us during the past year, but there is always more. The Power of God is immeasurable and never-ending. Therefore, as we turn the page on another year, let us give God praise for all that He has done this year and look forward to what the Lord is going to do next year.

In order for the Lord to do more in our lives, we must allow Him to increase as we decrease. John 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease. This is the key to living a life of fulfillment in the Lord. As strong as we may be or appear to be, when we take on the role of a humble servant and allow the Lord God to be magnified within us, then we will see the Power of God be manifested in us and through us.

The Grace of God is adequate for all our needs. To fully trust God is to understand what the Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 12:9 But He said to me, “My Grace is sufficient for you, for my Power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the Power of Christ may rest upon me.

This causes me to think of a wonderful old song that describes a CLOSER WALK WITH THEE. I am weak, but Thou art strong. Jesus, keep me from all wrong. I'll be satisfied as long as I walk, let me walk close to Thee. Just a closer walk with Thee. Grant it Jesus, if you please. Daily walking close to Thee. Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

When we become weak God will.............turn the tide

Weaker by the day,      Doreen
