Psalm 150 Praise the Lord! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty firmament! Praise Him for His mighty acts; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness! Praise Him with the sound of the trumpet; Praise Him with the lute and harp! Praise Him with the timbrel and dance; Praise Him with stringed instruments and flutes! Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with clashing cymbals! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!

 

Today is the last day of the year 2025. Tomorrow will be the start of a brand new year. No one knows what tomorrow will bring or what will happen in 2026. However, we do know what the Lord has done in 2025!  Just for starters, millions of prayers have been answered! 

 

The world watched as the Lord God did a mighty work in our nation to cause His Church to rise up in faith and unity. We each have a personal testimony of God's Power in our lives during the past year. We have much to celebrate today and every day! 

 

The Book of Psalms contains 150 Psalms, or songs. The last one is a song of praise! It is short; only six verses long. It sounds like a "Praise God Party" to me!  Many people will be going to a party tonight to usher in the new year. There will be music and dancing, but most will not be glorifying God. Instead, they will glorify the world and all its evils. 

 

God's people are to praise Him! Make music for Him! Dance for Him! The last Psalm tells us to praise Him for His excellent greatness! 

 

If you live close to us here in Caney, OK, we invite you to join us tonight at The Treehouse for a Year End Celebration of Praise!  We are having a party, and we will sing and dance as we give the Lord praise for what He has done. He is great! He is awesome! He has done great things in our lives! He is worthy of our praise! Hallelujah! 

 

Tomorrow brings with it a New Year. We don't know what tomorrow holds, but we do know that the Lord is good and greatly to be praised! Praise the Lord!
