2 Corinthians 6:17-18  Therefore, come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you. I will be a Father to you, And you shall be My sons and daughters, Says the Lord Almighty.

 

The world we live in is extremely corrupt and getting worse every day. We have a choice to make: We can be a part of the corruption or we can…..come out from among them and be separate.

 

In the Morning Message yesterday, I made the following statement:  The corruption in the world today is so prevalent, we EXPECT people to be corrupt. We EXPECT the used car salesman to cheat us. We EXPECT the politician to lie. We EXPECT the worst because wickedness has become the norm.

 

The world is wicked. Everywhere we turn, we find it. It seems to get worse with every passing day. We EXPECT the worst because wickedness has become the norm. Christian, your name is NOT NORM! You are not part of what is the norm. You are NOT just one more wicked person in this wicked world.

 

You are one of God’s children. You do not belong to Satan and his demons. You belong to God. You have been bought and paid for by the Blood of Jesus Christ. He died on the Cross of Calvary, so you don’t have to be called “norm.”

 

The old man in you did belong in the world. The old man was part of the “norm,” but no more! You are a friend of God. He calls you friend. He calls you son or daughter.  He knows your name. You are His child; called out and separated from the wickedness of the normal world around you.

 

You have been “called out.” It’s up to you to “come out.” God will not drag you out of your wickedness. You must come out by your own free will.  You cannot remain in wickedness and be separate at the same time.

 

You have answered the call of Salvation. Now you are being “called out” of the darkness into ministry. God has chosen you for a specific purpose. He has something for you to do that only you can do. You have an assignment in the Body of Christ. 

 

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; (1 Peter 2:9) 

 

Today is the day to answer His call and COME OUT!  Once you do, no one will ever again call you “norm.”

 

Only God can……..turn the tide
