Hebrews 10:10 By that will we have been sanctified through the offering of the Body of Jesus Christ once for all.

Yesterday, we drew a comparison between our spiritual lives and a building project. (You might want to go back and read it before you continue here.) If you recall, we named the Spiritual Construction Company, Trinity Construction. It consists of God (the overall Project Manager), Jesus (the Financial Manager), and the Holy Spirit (the Job Superintendent).

The point I want you to see today is the importance of the Financial Manager. On any building project, if the company runs out of money, the job is shut down. If the workers aren’t paid, they won’t come back and no work will be done. Just because the boss is sitting behind his desk with the plans in front of him does not get the work done. The whole project is dependent on having enough money to pay for it.

And so it is with us. We are God’s (the Project Manager) project. He has the Plan and Purpose for our lives. The Holy Spirit (the Job Superintendent) does the actual work in us to make the needed changes. HOWEVER, nothing will move forward without faith in the Fact that Jesus (the Financial Manager) has already paid all the bills.

In the natural, the project will move forward when the Financial Manager secures the financing for the job and the money is put in the bank. In the spiritual, when Jesus went to the Cross and shed His Precious Blood, everything was paid for. Every debt was paid, past, present, and future. That means that what Jesus did on the Cross that day some 2,000 years ago is enough.

The Price He paid that day was all that God required for everyone on Earth. Every sin debt for you was paid in full. He doesn’t have to do it again. When Jesus said, It is finished. (John 19:30) that was it! The transaction was complete. Every debt, past, present, and future was paid in full. Your project was totally funded by the Blood of Jesus that Day. That is what is meant by The Finished Work of Christ.

Everything the Holy Spirit wants to do in your life has already been paid for. You see, the Holy Spirit (God’s Workforce) can’t do anything in your life unless you BELIEVE Jesus has paid your debt. Everything the Holy Spirit does can only be done because Jesus went to the Cross and paid for it in advance.

Your part in this whole thing is to believe. You must believe that God created you and has a Plan for your life. You also must believe that Jesus went to the Cross and paid the Price for you to be Saved, born-again, Healed, Delivered, totally transformed, and renovated! Finally, you must welcome, trust and allow the Holy Spirit to do the needed work in your life.

He is on the job, sitting outside the door to your heart waiting for you to open that door and say, “Welcome Holy Spirit. Come in and do the needed work in my life.”

Hold on because God is about to……….turn the tide……….in your life.
