1 John 2:27 But the Anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same Anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.
The Anointing of God cannot be taught or bought. On the contrary, the Anointing of God accompanies the Gifts of God that abide in us. They are a part of us, placed inside our being at the time God created us and knit us together in our mother’s womb.
No one can take God’s Anointing away from us. We can choose not to believe in it or refuse to use it for the Kingdom of God, but it will forever abide in us regardless.
I have a friend who is a natural singer and guitar player. He has never had a lesson or sat under the teaching of anyone. He was born with the ability to sing and play the guitar. Many years ago, he was in a horrible auto accident where he sustained severe brain injuries, and the doctors declared him brain dead.
He remained brain-dead in a coma for several days. When he woke up, he had to relearn everything he had learned in his lifetime. He had to re-learn to walk, talk, read, do math, etc. Everything he had learned in his lifetime of over 30 years was gone due to the brain injuries he had sustained in the accident.
As he began the rehabilitation process, he discovered something very interesting. He didn’t have to be taught to sing or play the guitar. One day, he picked up a guitar and began to play it and sing just as he always had. You see, God had created him with these gifts, and they were inside him despite what happened to his physical body.
This man is now using his gifts to increase the Kingdom of God, and when he picks up his guitar and begins to sing, yokes are broken off those who listen. It’s amazing to witness people come under the conviction of the Holy Spirit as they listen to him sing and play. It’s not him, it’s the Anointing of God on the Gifts God placed in him when He created him.
We have all been created with certain Gifts and they all come with the Anointing of God. Never think someone can teach you a Gifting because they cannot. You do not need to learn your Gifting. It already abides in you. It has been from the beginning. Your Gifting lies in your passion and what comes naturally to you.
Discover your passion, and you will find the Anointing of God, which will break the yoke off people and set them free! Therein lies YOUR ministry for the Kingdom of God!
